My thoughts this morning are derived from communique received from Terry Davidson, Superintendent Comanche Public Schools.
We are familiar with the home court advantage of sports. Often at these said home games you may see signs held up stating "not in our house". The athletic departments make a concerted effort at these home games to create a winning environment.
While Mr. Davidson spoke of having a home court advantage and creating a winning environment in his school district. I realized that a home court winning advantage is exactly what Kent and I have been working to establish for CUPC and every home of our church families. We want to create an environment where people can thrive.
It is important to insure that anything that takes away from a winning environment is eliminated. Pessimism, criticism, selfishness, gossip, and general bad attitudes must be expunged from our environment or we will lose our "home court advantage." When those attitudes do occasionally show themselves, we need to say: "NOT IN OUR HOUSE!" - Terry Davidson
"Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching?" - Dennis and Wendy Mannering
I'm glad I can say we are WINNING the game! To things that would hinder let's say "NOT IN OUR HOUSE"!
