My Poor Little Car & the Big Bad Truck

We were minding our business driving down the Tollway about 5 mph when a big old 90 something model Ford pick up plowed into us. I was holding a large Sonic Cherry Limeade. You guessed it.....

Kent saw the guy coming and SCREAAAAAMED, "JESUS!" Kent pulled to the shoulder to avoid the impact as the guy pulled to the shoulder to avoid us and BAAAAMMMM CRRRRRRRRASH he hit us.

Thank the Lord we are ok. Kent and I are very sore with achy backs, necks, and legs. My poor little car will never be the same! The seats, dash, carpet, seat belts, and doors are all covered in my red drink.

My clothes were drenched in red sticky drink. My cell phone is a sticky mess. My new Dooney & Bourke Purse is filled with the drink, too. I've been needing a new wallet....I guess it will be a necessity now.

The truck was so big compared to our car. Thank the Lord for being with us. Apparently our car lifted from the ground because there is an imprint of the car ontop of the truck's hood. That's scarey......

We are grateful that things aren't worse than they are. Pray these 'old' bodies can move about tomorrow!

Wow -- you've had quite the chaos lately involving vehicles & travel! Kinda makes you want to just hole up at home, huh? LOL We're having vehicle/travel woes, too, so I feel your pain!

Seriously though, I'm glad you all are okay!!! Hopefully you're not too sore.

Glad you guys weren't hurt worse...cars and purses are replaceable but... Just glad you're okay! (May be awhile before you take Cherry Limeade in the car again!)

Again, glad you are okay.

hahaha Sis Holly I already have. Calah and I had to go rescue them! I think they should've got out of the car @ the scene and then fall to the ground holding their backs... That way we could be living in prosperities!!! haha

yesterday was NOT the day for our family to be on the road. Mother, had just told me that Tracie and Kent were in a wreck. Tremayne and I were sitting at a stop sign and we were rear ended. Ours was NOT as bad as theirs though. Tracie and I talked this morning - we are both feeling pretty old and I wonder why my hands are sore? Guess I clenched the the cell phone too tight - ok, I was NOT driving so it was ok for me to be on the cel phone.

I hate her pretty car is so messed up - it really is pretty! (or was?)

Thanks everyone!!!! We are doing well. We went to the Chiropractor today. I have substantial diminished range of motion in my neck. Something is going on in my lower back. The doctor wouldn't give us full adjustments until we return Monday for x-rays. He did give us both a microcurrent electrical nerve stimulator device. Hopefully it will give some relief.

Kent's neck isn't as bad but he has some shoulder and back issues going on.

We picked up a rental car today so all is good in Conroe!

I have been pretty much away from my computer for the last few days. Today, I found your post. As others have commented, I am VERY thankful that you are doing well overall. May the "side effects" of the accident that you are experiencing soon be gone in the name of Jesus!
