Apology & More

For some unknown reason my sidebar has dropped to the bottom of this blog. So if you are looking to connect to someone or read the things that should be on my sidebar scroll down.

I love technical challenges and this one has confused me. I have researched and researched but this time it's beyond me. So, I have asked my real HTML technician, Jeff Backhus, to give me a helping hand. Hopefully by tomorrow this issue will be resolved. I did find a HTML fix and forwarded it to Jeff. So I can say I was 'apart' of the fix if it works. The previous statement was am insider especially for Deadra. She has recently dubbed me as the Tech Support Specialist or something like that for CUPC. When we have technical issues sometimes it takes too long to wait for David Weldon or Jeff Backhus to make a 911 emergency run to our rescue. With the help of many technical forums I try to resolve the problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes I have no clue what the geeks are talking about.

Again, my appologies for a messed up blog! lol

For the More:
Wow! What an incredible day I've had. My yesterday and my today ran together. Yesterday CUPC hosted Section 9 Conference. We prepared an informal reception in our foyer prior to the conference. The tables were draped in black and puddled with white. I love black! Since it's near Valentines I chose to accent the tables with rose petals, tiny red glass hearts, red tealites, and my beautiful Mikasa vase compliments of Section 9 at a previous event we hosted. The menu was fruit, muffins, cheese tray, creme puffs, pretzels, homemade cookies, a small coffee bar, and water. I'm sure I'm missing something but that's the jest of the menu. After the conference we enjoyed spending time with our friends Jeff & Wynette Sherry. We got home after midnight.

This morning CUPC leaders met for a dynamic challenge to go the extra degree. All I can say is INCREDIBLE. Kent distributed copies of 212 The Extra Degree . We each received a button and we had drawings for mugs and mousepads with "212 The Exra Degree" logo. This years meeting was one of the best. We've received very positive feedback already. I am thankful to work with a group of leaders who are ready to give the extra degree. We shared progress of each department and of the overall church. It's amazing the progress when you take the time to reflect. Then we set out some new goals and the path we can achieve. Watch out Conroe is all I can say!!!! Trent spoke very passionately and challenged each of us. I couldn't help but notice how there was hardly a dry eye as he spoke. I'm sure several were emotional because they have known Trent since he was only a very young boy. Now to see the hand of God settle on him in his leadership role is amazing. We always have a time of comments and group discussion. Each one contributed so much to the success of the meeting. There was definitely a feeling of teamwork and unity in our gathering. Great things are happening in Conroe.

Tomorrow will be another blessed day to serve the Lord.....

Thank you so much for hosting the Section Nine Conference. The reception in the foyer was beautiful and the food was delicious. Your praise team did an incredible job also. Thanks for all the preparation and hard work that goes in hosting a conference. May God bless you and may you have awesome church tomorrow (or I might say this morning)LOL!

Tracie, that has happened to me when I didn't post a slide show correctly.
If the whole thing was not embedded that I copied, it would knock everything catawampus when I first got started.
Glad yall had a great meeting.
How do yall get all these fancy side wallpapers for the blogs?
Love you...
