HELP....sincerely, I NEED help!

I'm working on a project and would appreciate any and all input from all readers. Please leave for me a BRIEF job description of what YOU feel is the role of a minister's wife. This isn't a joke. I'm not setting you up I need this for a project.

Often I receive comments and even more personal emails from readers of this blog thanking me for being an encouragement or a help. For once, I'm soliciting your help.

Thanks for helping me!

A friendly, prayerful, compassinate, supporter of her husband and his ministry in the work of God. One you can look to for Godly guidance and wisdom.
In reading your blog, you seem to fit the qualities of a pastor's wife, and God has blessed you for it.

I believe that a pastor's wife is a prayer warrior, steadfast, someone who backs her husband and whom her husband respects and honors. A pastor's wife is an encourager of the flock, someone who can see hurting people and is open to God's working through her towards these people. A pastor's wife is not a follower of others, nor is she cliquish. She views everyone the same, no matter status or income.

Bless you...hope this helps!

One whom does not talk about her saints to other saints.
One who holds what is told to her in confidence.
One who acts like they truly care for you (even if they don't)
One who sits in the audience the whole service and alter call!
One who will actually answer emails and phone calls (even when she don't want to)

Thank the Lord my pastor's wife is one who truly loves and shows love to each person she comes in contact with! (Thank you Sister McKee, I love you!)

From a saint's prospective, Job Description of minister's wife: Be a help meet and companion to her husband first and foremost. Be an encourager to all. Have a listening ear. Compassionate, caring. Trust saints enough to delegate. Doesn't build walls. Be Real!! Be instant in prayer!!!

Here is an article that I found when trying to find a website that I have used in the past for this type of project (teaching other minister's wives in Africa). Found it interesting ... http://www.edenbaptist.org/content/pastors-wife

I also will send you privately some lessons that I have used. You may be able to use some of it.

A Godly Wife having passion, love, charity, humor, empathy, mental toughness or a thick skin because criticisms will come. She must also have bible knowledge, maturity, patience, reliability, sensitivity, not a gossip, a good listener, a Spirit-led attitude desiring to model the fruit of the Spirit, a lil common sense would come in handy too, and I agree with everything Manumanums wrote.

I was trying to think of one word descriptions to this awesome job.
These are a few that come to mind:
Approachable, real, sincere, a good listener, full of integrity, hospitable, kind, caring, appreciative, godly, a helpmeet, and many more will come to mind I am sure.
